| 1) Now that you mention the fluid level and I recall the OE overflow tank, I see my slip. I would have to say to use the level indicator and be sure to keep it according to that. 2) As I stated in that last paragraph, there are a few different theories that people will hold to. I just wanted to provide the fundamental information that avoids one side of the fence or another and let the reader decide for them what they think is best for them. Personally, this is why I went with a thermostat-less system and an electric water pump. I can regulate the engine temperature so that the system runs at full capacity when I am running her hard (to keep temperatures lower as this boosts performance) but at the same time, when I am on the interstate, I run her a little over 210F and she does get another 3MPG while cruising.
